Cadet Class 2014 Testimonials 

"I just wanted to say thank you. On Aug 9th, 2014, I watched my son march in step for the first time after his week at Camp Cadet. He was 14. He was determined to go to that camp and I was honestly a bit of a mess because that was the first time that I'd ever gone a week without knowing if he was ok or talking to him. In addition, my sister was getting married on the 9th and he was supposed to be part of the wedding. He called her and asked her permission and was very responsible and mature about everything. I believe that was the first time that I realized my son was growing up.

On July 9th I watch him swear into the United States Army. Again, I am a bit of a mess. Perhaps for different reasons this time though. It's been more than a week since I've seen him, and I got my first letter yesterday. In it, he said that he's grateful for Camp Cadet. He said your camp helped prepare him a bit so he was ready to be there. He told me the hardest part was missing home. When he left your camp, all of 14, he told me he was going to sign. I said I was ok with that, just research it. He's never changed his mind. He also discovered that he loved to run at Camp Cadet. He started running cross country and long distances in track.
I'm incredibly proud of my son. He set a goal and is working towards it. And as I said before, he said he is grateful for being part of your camp. I am thanking your organization for giving kids a chance at exploring and experiencing these opportunities."
