Graduate Scholarship Description & Criteria
Indiana County Camp Cadet, Inc. was established in 2008, with a goal of introducing and educating young men and women in the diverse field of criminal justice and to establish positive relationships between law enforcement personnel and youths. Approximately 40 Indiana County youth “cadets” per year successfully complete the week long program. The scholarship will be awarded to deserving past graduates of Indiana County Camp Cadet, Inc. who attend college, trade, or technical schools in pursuit of a post-secondary degree. Up to $5,000 in scholarship grants will be awarded annually to eligible candidates who have graduated from the Indiana County Camp Cadet Program.
The Indiana County Camp Cadet, Inc. Board of Directors is excited to provide this scholarship opportunity to prior graduates of the program. This scholarship is intended to assist recipients who seek careers in law enforcement and community service related fields, although applicants in all fields of study are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applications will be reviewed by the Indiana County Camp Cadet Board of Directors. A maximum of 10 individual $500 scholarships will be awarded to deserving recipients each year. Eligible candidates are permitted to apply for this scholarship each year of their post-secondary career, up to a maximum of four (4) years.
